Welcome to the website of Washington Interagency Incident Management Team 3. We are a type 2 interagency team of people from around Washington State. We come from city and county fire departments and districts, as well as the Washington State Department of Natural Resources, National Park Service, U.S. Forest Service, U.S. Fish and Wildlife, and U.S. Bureau of Land Management.
While fires are our most common assignments, we are an all risk team available for all types of emergencies where coordination and management of an incident is needed. This allows local emergency services to resume their normal duties. While assignments in Washington State are a priority, we have traveled to other states that needed assistance.
